My journeys to Thailand, how it all began...

Hi, and welcome to my blog.
This is a work in progress so please come back often and see what changes have been made.

I've started this blog to share with everyone my adventures in Thailand which began in May 2009 (or 2552 if you use the Buddhist calendar).

Now, I'm not someone who believes in 'fate' or 'magic' or anything like that but how I came to visit Thailand for the first time has some syncronicity about it if you will. The story may be a little long-winded but I think it's an important part of the tale so please, bear with me.

After a few mad days in Bangkok, heat, traffic, bars, drinking etc. etc. it was off to Koh Samui, an island in the southern Gulf of Thailand...

After being convinced that Thailand is a great place for two single blokes to go for a holiday (ok, didn't take that much convincing really!) the flights and hotels were booked through my mates travel company.
